Radiomation has designed and developed the news and advertising content distribution system for Ireland.

From 1997 to 2008, it has been realised as a completely satellite-based service. In order to provide a means to increase and enhance content, it is now being upgraded to use twin distribution paths - Satellite and Internet. It is also being equipped with several back channels, enhanced monitoring, and "Alerters".

Now that the units are actually entering service, during this phase we are hosting a discussion board to give out information, and to give and get feedback. Please make good use of it because - as the contributions at the training days proved - at this stage, nobody has all the answers, but pooling our talents, we can give ourselves the tools we always wanted.
